Happy Friday Eve! Today, I am sharing what I keep in my everyday makeup bag. I am planning on doing a future post that details my makeup routine and how I apply these products, but for now I will be sharing some of the items I keep in there. Although I LOVE makeup, I don’t tend to wear very much on a daily basis so several of the items listed above are in my makeup bag, but are ones I may reach for on the weekends or nights out, rather than every day. I like to layer products, but they are all extremely lightweight. There are a few staple items that never leave my bag. The first item, is the About Face Mineral Sheer Tint (my color is Medium). I have used this religiously since the summer when my wedding hair stylist suggested it to me. For color reference, my mom and friend (who are way darker than me) wear the Medium shade as well, as this tinted moisturizer is extremely forgiving when blended into your skin. My must-have bronzer is the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil. I have gone through at least 5 of these over the years. It is a beautiful warm-toned, matte bronzer that smells like chocolate before you apply it. Don’t worry if you are sensitive to scents, the smell doesn’t linger on your skin. I tend to rotate out my blushes depending on the season, but my current favorites are Chanel Rose Bronze and Nars Exhibit A. Rose Bronze looks stunning on its own, but I have also layered it on top of other colors to give me a bronzy glow. If you are in the market to splurge on a higher end makeup product, this is the one I would recommend. Shockingly, I have even put it over Exhibit A (the scary looking bright one) and have loved the look. Have I mentioned Exhibit A photographs beautifully? I have worn this blush in almost all of my recent posts. It is striking and natural in person on all skin tones, but must be applied with a fluffy brush or light hand. I highly recommend you try it out next time you are out shopping! I have had this Vera Bradley makeup bag for a few years. I love the fact that it is machine washable and it has a protective plastic liner on the inside so that it doesn’t get ruined by its contents. If you enjoy beauty posts, I plan on also sharing my must-have makeup brushes, favorite mascaras and lip products in future posts!
